AETHERFALL
Privacy & audience measurement
AETHERFALL uses optional first-party audience measurement to understand visits, pages, music-link clicks, on-site excerpt starts, native shares and link copies, traffic sources, campaign labels, devices and approximate locations. Tracking starts only after you choose Accept. Refusing does not restrict the site.
Your choice is stored for 180 days. A random browser identifier and a session identifier are stored only after acceptance; a session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can withdraw consent using Privacy settings in the footer of any public music or contact page. Withdrawal removes these identifiers and stops future measurement. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected.
The owner of AETHERFALL is responsible for this measurement. Records are stored in the site’s hosting database, operated through Sites and Cloudflare, and accessible only to the owner. No advertising profiling or sharing with social networks is performed by this measurement. Raw IP addresses, precise coordinates, full referring URLs and contact message contents are not included in analytics. Country, region and city are approximate network information, only when supplied by the host.
Detailed events are retained for up to 90 days, visits and browser identifiers for up to 13 months, with cleanup when new events arrive. Anonymous cumulative totals are kept from the start of tracking. Counts are incomplete when visitors refuse or block tracking.
The contact form stores your name, email, category, subject and message privately so AETHERFALL can answer your request. These messages are not automatically forwarded to an email mailbox. A daily anti-abuse hash is also used to limit spam. Contact records are retained for up to 12 months, with cleanup when new requests arrive.
To request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, contact AETHERFALL using the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
